Natural Steps Sports Complex

Natural Steps Sports Complex is Little Rock Parks & Recreation’s premier soccer field complex, located in the scenic Arkansas River Valley northwest of the city. The 48.3-acre complex features high-quality natural grass fields designed for soccer, lacrosse, football, and other field sports. Through a partnership with Arkansas Rising Soccer Club, the complex serves as a regional destination for leagues, tournaments, camps, and competitive play while supporting recreation for athletes of all ages.

History

Natural Steps Sports Complex opened in 2014 as Little Rock’s first sports complex dedicated specifically to rectangular field sports. Developed to meet the growing demand for soccer, lacrosse, football, and tournament play, the complex was designed with room for future expansion while providing modern athletic facilities capable of hosting both local leagues and regional events. The initial phase included five competition fields, with a long-term master plan envisioning additional fields and amenities to support the continued growth of outdoor sports.

Today, the complex is owned by the City of Little Rock and leased to Arkansas Rising Soccer Club, which manages the athletic fields and oversees league play, tournaments, camps, and other soccer programming. This public-private partnership allows the facility to provide high-quality playing surfaces while expanding opportunities for youth and adult athletes throughout central Arkansas.
